Roles & Responsibilities
- Brand Image & Visibility-Promote and protect the association’s brand identity through consistent communication. Ensure use of official logos, colors, and themes across all platforms.
- Internal Communication-Disseminate timely information to members through circulars, newsletters, WhatsApp groups, and emails. Bridge communication between the executive committee, subcommittees, and the general membership.
- External Communication & Public Relations-Serve as the voice of the association to the public, stakeholders, partners, and media. Draft and release press statements, event highlights, and official announcements
- Event Publicity & Coverage-Serve as the voice of the association to the public, stakeholders, partners, and media. Draft and release press statements, event highlights, and official announcementsPublicize association events, programs, and initiatives before, during, and after execution. Coordinate photography, videography, and media coverage for all official activities.
- Digital & Social Media Management-Develop, manage, and update the association’s website and social media platforms. Create engaging content (posts, posters, videos) that aligns with the association’s vision.
- Content Creation & Documentation-Prepare newsletters, articles, and reports showcasing achievements and activities. Maintain a digital archive of all association communications and media assets.
- Member Engagement-Foster active participation of members through interactive communication channels. Collect and respond to member feedback to improve service and engagement.
- Strategic Communication Support-Support fundraising, partnership, and membership drives with well-crafted publicity materials. Provide communication input in all association strategic plans and initiatives.
- Crisis Communication-Manage sensitive communication issues professionally to protect the association’s image. Provide quick, clear, and coordinated messaging in times of challenges.
