Role of the HLPAK Executive Committee
The Executive Committee of the Housekeeping and Laundry Professionals Association of Kenya (HLPAK) is the governing body responsible for managing and overseeing the operational activities of the association. It provides leadership, direction, and coordination to ensure that HLPAK achieves its objectives of promoting excellence, sustainability, and professional growth in housekeeping and laundry management.
The committee’s key roles include:
- Developing and implementing policies, strategies, and programs that align with HLPAK’s vision and mission.
- Managing the day-to-day operational and administrative functions of the association.
- Coordinating events, trainings, and initiatives that advance professional standards and industry growth.
- Safeguarding the association’s financial and material resources with transparency and accountability.
- Representing HLPAK in partnerships, collaborations, and industry forums locally and internationally.
- Providing mentorship, guidance, and support to members to strengthen professional networks and leadership capacity.
